Object: Light fixture

 

Pure substances, light and marble are combined and set apart to create an illuminated void. Two materials of different nature are put together creating a contrast between the softness and vagueness of the light and the solidity and absoluteness of the marble.

A total cylinder is fragmented and cut to create an enlightened opportunity. An opportunity that challenges the nature of each material and redefines the properties of both.
